Our Stories: “I Identify As Me”
May 11 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
We are excited to host the teaser and sneak preview of “I Identify As Me!” “I Identify As Me” is a documentary that showcases and explores the lives and world views of PoC folx who are masculine of center. It is produced by a black woman owned company called People of Color (POC) Productions. Several cast mates will be in attendance and we will use this showing as an opportunity to share in community conversation in Our Stories fashion.
The event will start with a short mingling session with snacks. Questions will be posted on the walls to answer and get our thoughts flowing, followed by the teaser and sneak preview. Afterward, we will discuss as a group our own relation queer masculinity, our own identities, and how we share ourselves to the community around us.
